GE to offer SunTech monitor with cardiac system

This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

GE Healthcare is set to offer SunTech Medical’s Tango+ blood pressure monitor together with its CASE cardiac assessment system for exercise and stress testing. For an undisclosed fee, GE will make the noninvasive, automated Tango+ technology available globally. SunTech, of Morrisville, North Carolina, claims that its motion-tolerant technology is "the first and only to work with an electrocardiogram system to reliably acquire blood pressure during cardiac stress testing”. In combination with GE’s technology, the Tango+ will automatically measure blood pressure and will then export the results directly to the CASE system, thus reducing manual data entry and cutting procedure times.
