I-Flow steps up legal action against Apex Medical

Executive Summary
Low-cost drug delivery firm I-Flow has accused rival company Apex Medical Technologies of infringing on patents that it owns and misappropriating confidential trade secrets. I-Flow has filed suit against Apex and its president Mark McGlothlin, claiming that its Solace Pump product was designed using secret I-Flow designs. According to the Lake Forest, California-based company, a judge in the Southern District court of California has interpreted the case in its favour. In separate cases, I-Flow has already sued two distributors of the Solace Pump.
