KC’s LifeCell promotes long-serving executive to president

Lisa Colleran has been named as the president of LifeCell (Branchburg, New Jersey), a firm that makes tissue-based products for use in reconstructive, orthopaedic and urogynaecologic surgical procedures. The firm is a subsidiary of Kinetic Concepts (San Antonio, Texas). Ms Colleran, who has been with the firm since 2002, has also been named as a member of Kinetic Concept’s executive committee. Previously, Ms Colleran was senior vice-president of LifeCell’s commercial operations. Prior to joining LifeCell, she served at Baxter Healthcare for 20 years. She replaces Paul Thomas, who has resigned.
