Atos Origin, the French IT services group with a significant interest in developing public healthcare management contracts, is aiming to strengthen its position in Germany, Austria and Poland, with the appointment of a new CEO for these countries (see People news). The Paris-based group's self-appended "IT services" label belies its aim of "turning client vision into results through the application of consulting, systems integration and managed operations", notably in the public healthcare sector.
