Executive Summary

US firm Guided Therapeutics (Norcross, Georgia) has appointed Ronald Allen to its board of directors. Mr Allen is a board member of the St Joseph’s Translational Research Institute (Georgia) and has senior executive experience across a number of industries, including Delta Airlines of which he was chairman of the board, president and CEO before his retirement in 1997. He is currently a director at The Coca-Cola Company, Aaron Rents, Aircastle, and Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Guided Therapeutics is developing a rapid, painless test for the early detection of disease that leads to cervical cancer.
