Restless leg treatment co clinches $2.5m in series A

Sensory Medical, a San Clemente, California firm developing a treatment for Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS), has received $2.5m in series A financing from Salt Creek Medical Device Development. The money will be used to launch an FDA clinical study of Sensory's product. In conjunction with the funding, Jim Voelker, advisor to Salt Creek Medical's investment fund and head of internet research services provider InfoSpace, has joined Sensory's board of directors.
