QS hires Plochocki as president and CEO

Quality Systems (QS - Irvine, California) has appointed Steven Plochocki as president and CEO. He has been on the company's board of directors since 2004 and replaces Lou Silverman, who is retiring. Mr Plochocki is the former chairman and CEO of Omniflight Helicopters (air medical services provider). He has also worked for Centratex (healthcare billing) and Apria Healthcare (home health provider). QS develops and provides computer-based practice management, medical records, and e-business applications for medical and dental group practices.
