Brazilian IVD suppliers secure international inspections exemption

Executive Summary
Members of Brazil's main in vitro diagnostics industry association, the CBDL, no longer have to have their international manufacturing facilities inspected before they get approval to sell their products in the South American country1. According to the association, CBDL members are also being exempted from Anvisa's R$37,000 (US$18,500) fee for inspections that do take place.
