EU's ENVI sets March date for medtech regulations debate, issues impact assessment verdict

The first exchange of views on the twin EU medical device regulation proposals at the European Parliament's Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) committee will now be heard on either 20 or 21 March1. The original date of 18 February had to be postponed as a result of the committee's need to debate the issue of horsemeat in other meat products that has affected several EU member states2.
