Dominique Maraninchi, currently head of France's national cancer institute (INC), is to head up the country's health products regulator, Afssaps, a French government source, who wished to remain anonymous, has told Regulatory Affairs Medtech's sister publication Scrip Intelligence. Afssaps is to have two directors, although it is unclear who will join Professor Maraninchi at the helm
