Medtronic’s VenaSeal Closure System Receives FDA Approval For Treating Chronic Venous Disease

Adding to its product portfolio for treating superficial venous reflux, Medtronic has now received US approval for a more minimally invasive device, the VenaSeal closure system, which uses adhesive injections to seal the diseased vein in select patients with chronic venous insufficiency.
