Gastrointestinal endoscopy device maker raises $7.5 million in a "Series B" private placement, announced Aug. 20. The privately held firm, headquartered in Alpharetta, Ga., will use the proceeds to expand its sales team and "accelerate growth." The financing round was led by Council Ventures and River Cities Capital Funds
