Software application for remote access by obstetricians to virtual real-time and historical heart tracing and contraction pattern waveform data from pregnant mothers and their babies is now available for download by obstetricians at Apple's App store, developer AirStrip Technologies says April 6. The AirStrip OB application for the Apple iPhone also allows doctors to monitor nursing notes and exam status sent from a hospital's labor and delivery unit. The FDA-cleared application was already available on Windows Mobile devices
