Medtronic launches Complete SE self-expanding biliary stent system following 510(k) clearance, announced Nov. 15. Complete SE, indicated for palliative treatment of malignant tumors in the bile duct, is available in diameters of 4-10 millimeters and lengths from 20-150 millimeters. Bench testing shows the system allows for extremely accurate stent placement, the firm says. Previous biliary stent clearances for Medtronic include Racer and Aurora in 2003
