Executive Summary
Robotic catheter placement system maker Hansen Medical acquires "early stage" percutaneous aortic heart valve replacement device developer AorTx for $10 mil up front and up to $30 million in additional milestone payments. Announced Nov. 1, the cash and stock deal will allow Hansen to develop robotic catheter solutions for heart valve therapy, the company says.
