Hologic will bring in house the production of amorphous selenium photoconductor materials and coatings used in its Selenia full-field digital mammography systems through the $26.7 mil. purchase of German component supplier AEG Elektrofotografie May 2. The purchase price for AEG, the sole supplier of the component, represents about half of AEG's 2005 revenue.
