CMS denies new CGM code
CMS shoots down Dexcom and Medtronic requests for continuous glucose monitors (CGM) to get their own HCPCS codes, notwithstanding congressional pressure. In March, CMS tentatively denied the companies' requests to establish three new codes to describe the components of CGM.
