Shaun Samuels, MD, Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute, Miami, alleges that Boston Scientific's TriVascular Enovus abdominal aortic stent graft infringes his patent for "inflatable intraluminal stent and method for affixing same within the human body" and was derived from Samuels' trade secret technology. Samuels is represented by Morgan & Finnegan, LLP, New York. Boston Scientific responds: "Dr. Samuels has raised these allegations before, in a lawsuit which he filed and subsequently withdrew. We have had an opportunity to look into his claims, and we believe they are groundless. We will defend this lawsuit vigorously"...
