Second Look computer-aided detection system gains first FDA approval for digital CAD with Fischer's SenoScan True View digital mammography scanning system; competitors R2 and iCAD are expected to follow suit. R2 inked an exclusive distribution pact with Fischer for the integrated R2 ImageChecker/SenoScan system (1"The Gray Sheet" Sept. 23, 2002, p. 26). ImageChecker has been approved for use with GEMS's Senographe 2000D and is awaiting approval for use with Hologic's Lorad Selenia (2"The Gray Sheet" Sept. 8, 2003, p. 18). CADx also has a distribution agreement with GEMS and is awaiting approval of Second Look digital CAD with Senographe 2000D...
