OC strategic plan oversight: CDER Director Janet Woodcock, detailed to the Office of the Commissioner starting Oct. 20, will facilitate implementation of cross-cutting initiatives at agency centers, Oct. 7 FDA memo indicates. Although the detail is set for six months, it could evolve into a longer-term position. In the memo, the agency also announces plans to create a strategic plan council and regulatory policy council and to hold bimonthly "two on twos" between the commissioner/deputy commissioner and center directors/deputy center directors in lieu of executive council meetings...
