Steve Mahle, Cardiac Rhythm Management President, emphasizes firm's foray into developing implantable cardiac diagnostics to measure arrhythmias, blood gases, ischemia, glucose and critical enzymes at the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation's annual meeting in Minneapolis on June 2. Highlighting atrial fibrillation, Mahle notes that "patients can even administer their own atrial therapy when needed by holding a small transmitter over their implanted device and pushing a button."
