Consumer products unit of Danish firm Coloplast is acquired by Johnson & Johnson. The company has distributed the unit's Compeed consumer wound dressings under the Band-Aid brand in North America since 1997 and in Australia and Japan under subsequent agreements. The business generated about $23 mil. in revenues in 2001.
