Executive Summary

The U.S. Army Research Laboratory seeks licensees for a new hand-held immunochromatic assay for the detection of biological agents at extremely low concentrations. Developed with the Army Soldier and Biological/Chemical Command, the device has been constructed based on a nanomanipulation approach, and could have applications for clinical diagnostics, drug discovery, proteomics, environmental testing and the detection of anthrax, botulinum, Ebola and plague.
