Former Boston Scientific lobbyist Allison Giles will serve as staff director for the full Ways & Means Committee. Giles was on the personal staff of Rep. Bill Thomas (R-Calif.) from 1994-96 and worked in Thomas' Ways & Means/Health Subcommittee staff from 1997-99 on elements of the 1997 Balanced Budget Act. Separately, John McManus, Rep.
