Executive SummarySenate HELP Committee hearing on reuse originally planned for June 22 has been rescheduled for June 27. The committee will release a General Accounting Office report that it requested last July to evaluate the appropriateness of FDA's past reprocessing policy, the economic impact of reusing disposable products and the cost of requiring FDA to assure the safety and efficacy of reprocessed single-use devices.
