House Commerce/Health Subcommittee Chairman Michael Bilirakis (R-Fla.) is preparing legislation to reauthorize the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research, following a hearing on April 29. The Florida Republican said he is "very optimistic" that the bill will pass in 1999.
