The Ray threaded fusion cage made by Tyco/U.S. Surgical division Surgical Dynamics, Inc. infringes a patent held by Medtronic Sofamor Danek for its Inter Fix spinal fusion cage, according to a federal appeals court ruling which remanded the case back to federal district court in Los Angeles.
