Executive Summary
Definitive agreement for Elscint to sell its nuclear medicine and magnetic resonance medical imaging businesses to General Electric's GE Medical Systems division for $100 mil. is finalized. Separately, Elscint signs a definitive agreement to sell its computed tomography division to Picker International, a subsidiary of U.K.-based General Electric Company, plc, for $269.5 mil.
