Executive Summary
Launches Y-Knot arthroscopic suture fixation device April 15 at a price of $95. The device, which will be sold in the U.S. by Innovasive's 15 sales reps along with an additional 100 independent reps, is the "first arthroscopic device capable of replacing the hand-tied knot as a means of securing tissue to the underlying bone during complicated arthroscopic shoulder surgeries," the Marlboro, Massachusetts-based firm says.
