Johnson & Johnson forges supply contract with the group purchasing organization spanning most of the firm's product range - including low-temperature sterilization products, wound closure and endo-mechanical products, surgical instruments and fracture management products, diagnostic equipment and supplies, cardiology/endovascular products, various medical equipment and supplies, and pharmaceuticals. The deal is anticipated to provide Purchase Connection's over 3,500 health care facilities nationwide with "significant savings and value-added programs," Purchase Connection states in a Feb. 17 release.
