X-RAY, CT MANUFACTURERS ENTITLED TO "JUST COMPENSATION" FOR DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE if FDA requires firms to provide it to third-party service organizations, the Washington, D.C. law firm Hyman, Phelps & McNamara says in a request for an advisory opinion submitted to FDA Dec. 24. The document asks FDA to affirm "that manufacturers are not prohibited from charging customers, assemblers and others an arms-length price to license their software."
