Trex/Digitec: Trex Medical gains cardiac catheterization lab monitoring and image archiving products through acquisition of Digitec, announced Oct. 20. Trex plans to integrate the Chapel Hill, North Carolina-based company with its XRE subsidiary, which makes cath lab x-ray imaging systems. The addition of Digitec will enable XRE "to provide hospitals with comprehensive, completely integrated digital networking systems," Trex says.
