U.S. SURGICAL/PROGRESSIVE ANGIOPLASTY SYSTEMS PARAGON CORONARY STENT is slated for an October European launch, assuming CE mark clearance in the next few weeks, USSC says. U.S. Surgical gained the stent through the Sept. 22 acquisition of Progressive Angioplasty Systems, which will provide USSC an entry into the percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty and stent markets.
