ANDCARE LEADCARE PORTABLE LEAD POISONING TEST SYSTEM U.S. DISTRIBUTION will be handled by Physician Sales & Service, AndCare states. A final contract with PSS for the first-of-its-kind portable blood test for lead poisoning is being negotiated by AndCare marketing partner ESA, Inc. The LeadCare system, intended for use by health care workers in a physician's office or in the field, is anticipated to cost less than $2,000 for hardware and utilize about $5-6 in consumables per use, AndCare says. FDA cleared the product for marketing on Sept. 10.
