Genzyme: Plans to debut its EndoValve heart valve surgical instruments for use during stopped heart procedures this fall, John Gilsdorf, executive VP-surgical products said at a June 19 Dillon, Read & Co. Medical Technology meeting in New York City. The instruments were developed under an agreement with mechanical heart valve maker CarboMedics ("The Gray Sheet" Jan. 13, I&W-7).
