Executive Summary
The preventive benefit provisions of the Medicare budget bill reported out of the House Ways and Means/Health Subcommittee June 5 have been expanded to include bone densitometry testing. The additional Medicare benefit is projected to cost $300 mil. from 1998 to 2000.
