Matria Healthcare v. National Women's Health Network -- April 14 hearing to address motion to dismiss.

This article was originally published in The Gray Sheet

Executive Summary

NATIONAL WOMEN'S HEALTH NETWORK MOTION TO DISMISS MATRIA HEALTHCARE SUIT will be considered at a hearing set for April 14 in Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta, Georgia. Filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia on behalf of NWHN on March 6, the motion for dismissal contends that Atlanta-based Matria's Jan. 28 civil suit against the non-profit women's advocacy organization is an attempt to restrict NWHN's free speech right to criticize Matria's business practices.
