TOSHIBA ASPIRE CI CONTINUOUS IMAGING CT PACKAGE SALES total 15 units in the U.S. since the product received 510(k) clearance on April 15, and more than 200 Aspire units oversees since its international introduction a year ago, the company says. Aspire is the first continuous imaging computed tomography scanner cleared by FDA, Toshiba says. The upgrade, which enables visual guided delivery of biopsy needles and catheters, was officially introduced in early December at the Radiological Society of North America Meeting in Chicago.
