NPB TO PICK UP PORTABLE VENTILATOR LINE WITH AEQUITRON ACQUISITION, a definitive agreement for which was announced Sept. 10. The stock-swap deal, valued at about $61 mil., would give Nellcor Puritan Bennett a line of portable ventilators in the U.S., replacing a product segment that Puritan-Bennett discontinued under a 1994 consent decree.
