Empi: Adopts $6 mil. stock buyback program. The Minneapolis firm has repurchased a total of 396,000 shares since Nov. 30, 1995 under previous repurchase plans. Empi also recently repurchased and canceled warrants to purchase 250,000 shares of its common stock which were originally issued in conjunction with its purchase of the Nortech Division of Medtronic in November 1992 ("The Gray Sheet" Nov. 30, 1992, p. 13)...
