Technical Chemicals and Products, Inc.: Acquires remaining 20% of Health-Mark Diagnostics, manufacturer of the recently launched HealthCheck line of over-the-counter test kits. The deal makes HMD a wholly owned subsidiary of TCPI, which says it plans to consolidate HMD's Mountain Lakes, New Jersey-based operations into TCPI's facility in Pompano Beach, Florida. HealthCheck products cleared by FDA include kits for pregnancy and ovulation; vision screening and skin growth monitoring. Tests for urine nitrate (urinary tract infections), urine glucose (diabetes), and urine protein (kidney/bladder disorders) "are in the final phase of FDA review and are expected to be released shortly," the firm says...
