Executive Summary
FDA reform legislation is unlikely to pass the House this year, Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) told the National Association of Retail Druggists' legislative conference April 23 in Washington, D.C. "I think you are going to see hearings, and you are going to see a lot of effort to come to a consensus this year, but I would doubt very much that you will see a bill pass the House on FDA reform" this session, Pallone said. "I think that what we are doing now is basically trying to come up with language and a framework that we can move on in the next" session, he added.
