GUIDANT TO ENTER ANGIOGRAPHY MARKET WITH ACS TORQUEMASTER, a line of angiographic catheters obtained by Guidant unit Advanced Cardiovascular Systems from Adam Spence Corp. in an exclusive distribution agreement announced Feb. 7. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Guidant says the products will be manufactured by Adam Spence and marketed by Guidant's Vascular Intervention group sales force. Torquemaster products, which are pending approval at FDA, are expected to begin entering the market during the first half of 1996, Guidant says.
