Siemens Medical Systems: Resumes shipments of Servo 300 and Servo 900 ventilator systems from its Siemens-Elema AB Life Support Division, located in Solna, Sweden, after FDA lifts import alert Oct. 10, Siemens announces. The site, which has been on import alert since May 1993 due to good manufacturing practices violations, is the last Siemens facilities to be allowed to resume sales to U.S. customers after the firm voluntarily suspended shipments from five facilities as part of a consent decree entered with the agency in February 1994 ("The Gray Sheet" Feb. 23, 1994, p. 5)...
