PerSeptive Biosystems: Secures approximately $6 mil. in additional funding for its German subsidiary via loans from Dresdner Bank AG and IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG. The funds will go towards construction of the firm's new facility in Hamburg, Germany, where "chemicals used in DNA and peptide synthesis" will be manufactured. The company also recently announced that it had obtained $5 mil. raised from Hambrecht and Quist "to help cover the costs associated with tenant improvements and buildout in" its new Framingham, Massachusetts headquarters building...
