BREAST IMPLANT SETTLEMENT: "CURRENT" DISEASE CLAIMS PAYMENT CUT OF 84-88% would occur under a best-case scenario, given current funding levels, according to a June 14 report from the U.S. District Court in Birmingham, Alabama. The cut will be necessary due to the unexpectedly high number of claims received, the court report says. Judge Samuel Pointer of the Birmingham district court is overseeing the settlement.
