DOW CORNING CHAPTER 11 FILING COULD INCREASE GLOBAL SETTLEMENT FUNDS, according to plaintiff attorneys in the breast implant liability settlement. Dow Corning announced on May 15 that it filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the bankruptcy code with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Bay City, Michigan.
