SEN. HATFIELD TO REINTRODUCE BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH TRUST FUND in the 104th Congress. Sen. Mark Hatfield (R-Ore.), the new chairman of the Appropriations Committee, is planning to reintroduce several research-related bills that he had sponsored in the 103rd Congress, including the Harkin/Hatfield trust fund for biomedical research funding.
