Executive Summary
Shipments of its Model ND-2600 endoscopic suture system to begin in the third week of August. The disposable device, which lists at $75, is designed to use standard 26 mm X 180 degrees needles and can be used in either open or laparoscopic procedures, the Irvine, California-based firm says. The needle driver is the first device in the company's "complete line of general purpose and endoscopic suturing systems" to reach the U.S. market and will be sold through distributors.
