Receives $28 mil. purchasing contract for its Model 570 Volumetric Infusion Pump and intravenous administration sets from Department of Defense hospitals. Under the multiyear contract, all DoD hospitals requiring IV drug infusion equipment must purchase it from IVAC, the Lilly subsidiary says. Veterans Administration and Public Health Service Hospitals "may also purchase drug infusion equipment under this agreement," IVAC notes.
